The Human Side of Performance

We help you build BOTH; an adaptive organisation and workforce that keeps learning
and adapting, keeps pace with change and achieves sustainable performance.

Technology is transforming work faster than people can adapt. The real gap isn’t digital skills but human adaptability.

Balancing organisational demands with individual wellbeing is like maintaining a fish tank: if the water (culture) is muddy or the system (structure) is inefficient, even the strongest fish (individuals) will struggle.
Zest closes the gap between strategy and performance by building individual capacity to adapt, learn, and thrive while redesigning the systems that support them.

Our science-based services help individuals and organisations thrive in fast-changing environments.
People stay energised. Systems are adaptive. And performance? It finally becomes sustainable.

For Individuals

  • Self-aware
  • Self-regulation
  • Self-management

Bringing strategy to life begins with energised, resilient individuals in roles that are well-suited for their success. That requires deep self-awareness and strong self-management skills. But too often, people are overwhelmed by navigating uncertainty, shifting demands, and systems that push them into survival mode.

Zest helps individuals reconnect with their energy, manage stress, and take ownership of their career paths. Our science-based programmes build the mindset, skills, and habits people need to adapt to change, manage stress, and sustain performance while staying healthy and employable. Performance becomes energising, not exhausting.

For Organisations

  • Engagement
  • Productivity
  • Retention

Sustainable performance starts with adaptable, resilient leaders, flexible capabilities, and a human-centric operating system built to keep pace with change. Without the systems and structures to restore energy, gain clarity, and renew motivation, your people feel drained and disconnected. Yet many organisations are still operating on outdated models and asking more from people while offering less support.

Zest helps organisations evolve. Our leadership development programmes, and professional services focus on redesigning systems, not just individuals, so your people can perform without burning out. We bring behavioural science into everyday operations to help you build resilient cultures and adaptive teams that can deliver through uncertainty.

Behavioural Resilience

“Zest for Work delivers high quality Energy Management learning programmes – both face to face and virtual – that supports us to shift behaviours and culture @ MARS to one that breathes and sustains high energy and wellbeing.”

Zests delivers the HPI Corporate Athlete training (internally branded as Behavioural Resilience) at Mars since 2018, everywhere in Europe and Russia. Over 1,000 employees were trained in 6 different languages either face to face and virtually since 2020. Their trainers are absolute experts in the field and provide the human touch needed during the virtual classrooms. I do not foresee us ever moving back to 100% face to face sessions!

Thanks to this programme, we are shifting behaviours and culture @ MARS to one that breathes and sustains high energy and well-being. Our course study data shows that pre-course only 13% of Associates were fully energised. 6 weeks post course, 45% of the participants reported to be fully energised. An increase of 245%.

On top of this, Zest moves beyond delivery, unburdening our team and functions as a strategic implementation partner by supporting our rollout expansion to new languages and locations worldwide. I love their flexibility, and also important for me, they are easy and fun to work with!

Adaptive Leadership Journey

"Our leadership wellbeing programme with Zest for Work was a game-changer for us at MAF Properties"

Our leadership wellbeing programme with Zest for Work was a game-changer for us at MAF Properties. It equipped us with practical tools to better manage our energy and prioritise recovery—so we have more to give, both at work and at home.  This also helped us role model the right leadership behaviours to promote wellbeing across our organisation. The experience also helped us build greater resilience as leaders, enabling us to navigate challenges with more clarity, composure, and purpose. It was an inspiring and timely reminder of the importance of investing in our own wellbeing to lead sustainably and effectively.

Further, Yvon Golbach uses her broad experience in the field of Career development and supports us to move beyond delivery of interventions for individuals and facilitates the strategic implementation of our approach to successfully transition towards sustainable careers. She thinks on a strategic level about conditions for success and how to effectively create them. She understands our unique organisational challenges and provides practical ideas to overcome those. As an example, we organise HR Think Tank sessions to reinforce and strengthen the mindset of our HR team towards contemporary careers and to start identifying how that will affect our processes. Yvon is passionate about the topic and passes her energy on to others. What I like about working with her is that she can put things in perspective and she has a nice sense of humour."
