This privacy statement is intended to provide you with information regarding the processing of personal data in the context of our activities. We explain to you what we do with the collected data and why.

The personal data we process

ZestForWork processes your personal data when using our services and / or by providing this information to us.

Below an overview of the personal data we process:

  • Other personal data that you actively provide in correspondence and by phone

  • Professional data in the context of career counselling
  • Any reports of coaching conversations (coaching logs)

  • Data related to your activities on our website
  • Data on your browsing behavior across different website (for example because this company is part of an advertising network)

Special and / or sensitive personal data that we process

ZestForWork processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data of you:

  • Medical details (For example, if you inform me that you have a burn-out)

 

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

ZestForWork processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your payment, to be able to do general customer management, including invoicing and accounting (execution of the agreement)
  • Sending our newsletter, advertising brochure or other marketing related activities;
  • To can call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services;
  • Inform you about changes to our services and products;
  • To be able to carry out the requested service (execution of the agreement);

For example to provide a training or coaching, to send related assignments, to download an e-book, to sell (online) products and to offer other services;

  • To be able to follow up on any complaints;
  • ZestForWork also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as information that we need for our tax obligation or data needed by the VDAB for their career counselling program;
  • ZestForWork analyzes your behavior on the website in order to improve the website and adjust the range of products and services to your preferences;
  • ZestForWork tracks your surfing behavior on various websites with which we tailor our products and services to your needs
    (more on following and analyzing your surfing behavior in the text below).

Automated decision-making

ZestForWork does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example, a ZestForWork employee).

 

How long do we store personal data

ZestForWork does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:

Sharing personal data with third parties

ZestForWork shares your personal data with various third parties, if this is necessary for:

  1. Execution of the agreement or passing on an assignment to another coach or trainer
  2. To meet any legal obligations (e.g. VDAB and Taxes)
  3. To use software that is necessary for our business operations.

With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. ZestForWork remains responsible for these processing operations. ZestForWork also provides your personal data to other third parties. We only do this with your express permission.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

ZestForWork uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. ZestForWork uses cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimize it. In addition, we place cookies that track your surfing behavior so that we can offer customized content and advertisements.

On your first visit to our website, we have already informed you about these cookies and have asked you permission to use them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition to cookies, ZestForWork also uses Google Analytics. Google analyses the data obtained this way for ZestForWork. The information is anonymised as good as possible. Your IP address is explicitly not used. ZestForWork can therefore not personally trace this data back to you.

Google will only share the information obtained with third parties if they are legally obliged to do so or insofar as third parties process the information on behalf of Google. ZestForWork has not given Google permission to use the information obtained for other Google services.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by ZestForWork and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to be to send the personal data that we have obtained in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to zest4work@outlook.com.

To ensure that the request has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks max.

ZestForWork also wishes to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority, via: Contact Authority Personal Data.

You can of course also unsubscribe at any time for the mailings you receive from ZestForWork. At the bottom of each mailing you will find an ‘unsubscribe’ button, which you can use to unsubscribe.
